Ceremonies
Sometimes it’s difficult to truly appreciate that this sad time is in fact a celebration. A celebration of a life.
The word ‘celebration’ can appear out of context given your loss but when you come down to it that is what it should be – a real celebration.
At a time when your world has turned upside down creating a memorable and loving experience is not an easy task. Together we will make certain we craft a real celebration – one that will warm and deepen the love which surrounds you at this sad time.
Quiet and reserved. Loud and colourful. Close to tradition or completely at odds with tradition. Or somewhere in between. Creating an event in keeping with your own and your family requirements can always be achieved making certain that the celebration of life is perfect.
What’s it really, truly about?
You! and it’s about bringing your family and friends together to celebrate your unionship
Our job (yours and mine) is to create memories from your special day that, first and foremost, will stay with you and your guests forever.
It can seem like a daunting task is ahead of you - but make the day about you and the rest will fall into place – honestly!
Your vows and your service need to be individual to you. Reflecting your personalities, your loves and likes and, of course, your love for each other.
Your guests know all about you, and something about your partner, it is now our task (together) to make sure that they really understand what this union is all about.
My role is to help you craft the day. I’ll spend time with you - as a couple and individually. I’ll talk to your family and friends (with your permission). Finally, we will run through the finished ceremony to make 100% certain it is what you are looking for and to make 100% that it is YOU.
Bring it on - Love, fun, laughter, tears, support, strength, friendship, life.
I cannot help you with the name (although Oliver sounds good to me) but I can help you put together a day that you, your family and friends will carry with them for life.
A Naming Ceremony is (in theory) one of the easiest days to organise but in reality, is easy to get wrong. Together we can craft a day around the child or children (or young adult, or older adult – you’re never too old for a naming ceremony).
This truly is a day of love, fun and laughter and if created right can come close to being one of the best celebrations you can have.
What do you want to celebrate? A birthday, an anniversary, sporting achievement, promotion, retirement, Burns Night, Fathers Day, Mothers Day, an open day, an opening day, foundation laying day. Passing out. If you can celebrate it then it’s possible that together we can make the event EVEN BETTER than you expected.
The job description of the celebrant is easy – getting it right is sometimes not so easy – but together we can

The cost for each type of ceremony can vary based on the specific event and location. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a naming ceremony, or a vow renewal, prices typically range from £400 to £1,000. End of life celebrations are often arranged directly through your funeral director, however if you would prefer to work directly with me, that is also possible.
